Is it not possible to connect a bluetooth audio device (such as a headset) to a KD43XH8096 television?

Click the Android link there, to see that XH80s aren’t listed.
Your set has Bluetooth:-
- Version 4.2;HID (mouse/keyboard connectivity)/HOGP (Low Energy device connectivity)/SPP(Serial Port Profile)
but not the A2DP profile needed for headphones.
However, the problem is pretty easily, cheaply, and simply solved as per the advice I gave to @Lowestoftlass

Yes, it is quite confusing. I have tried to shut down all other bluetooth devices as well as wifi, and turning bluetooth on and off, but it does not seem to like to register any of my headphones.
The question is if this is a bug, or it is not supposed to recognize them...
