Dolby Atmos Pass Through

I have a KD75XG8505. I have a sound bar that produces Dolby atmos sound but when I plug my Apple 4k into the inputs on the tv, it does not produce D.A. sound. All the cables are correct and the soundbar is connected by arc. Any ideas would be gratefully received. Many thanks

Yes that’s true ive figured that out only recently since the new Apple TV update has given me Atmos support and when it comes to the PS4 only blu ray works with Atmos, It does sound compressed for sure and I am not sure when it will gain EArc of if my tv is enabled for it. I guess LG aren’t clear on thier communications to various of thier TVs which will get it or not.

I have dual outputs on my UBP-X700 player. I can connect audio to the Q90R soundbar and the video to the tv but I only get Atmos (or any) sound if I unplug the ARC cable.  Bit of a pain but it works. Currently researching an hdmi switch that will “unplug” the ARC for me.

Samsung soundbars (I have Q90R) do not support DolbyVision sadly.
