basically that, was fine last week but now from tuesday the picture stutters on and off, goes fine for a few secs then its off again in spurts and juddering, sounds fine though just the picture, anyone else had any issues this week or is it the ever weak and under powered cpu on this tv finally being pushed out of being usable when streaming services update they apps, or is it eurosport itself as netflix hdr content works fine. and yes its a wired connection, with plenty of bandwidth 70 meg down.
Have you tried checking for updates or clearing the cached data? They are basics things to check yes, but they work like magic sometimes xD
not done that will try a reset later, but i have had word back from eurosport support on twitter and the tv is not officially supported !? they gave me a link to supported devices and well its rather strange as the ONLY tv's official supported at the moment are Samsung TV with Tizen OS only 3.0+.

no other tv's what so ever, im awaiting on a reply from my question about what has changed because its been fine for the past 2 years up to tuesday this week. also hard to understand how its only samsungs supported and no other brand.
Hi there,
Since you can stream Netflix in HDR with no issues, I don't think we can fault the picture processor or available memory in any way. Clearing the cache as suggested by Joe earlier could help, but I'd also be interested if restarting your router affects the streaming performance of the app in any way, as it's not only the bandwidth that can cause stuttering on the network side.
On the other hand, just as Eurosport don't recognize the TV as officially supported, Sony would also have the same opinion about the app, especially since other apps work as intended.
I agree with the basics suggested by Joe as well.

Yeah tried clearing cache and it improves it a bit but still jumps skips and runs poorly. had a few more messages from eurosport support and they confirmed all streams are now 1080p50. which could be the issue i guess with my specific model. although it should be able to do it if it can do 4khdr no problem so probably a mixture of eurosports app being poorly optimised (lazy) and the weak cpu in the set just not powerful enough to brute force it.
oh well. guess il have to either build a HTPC or get a a stick or some type down the line.
Hi,
Also had exactly the same issue on that day and from than onwards. Have a Sony Bravia KD-43XG8196, it's 4K and streams everything else perfectly. So annoying and can't believe how rubbish the Eurosport app is, it's a shame as the commentary is brilliant for the cycling but if it doesn't improve am switching to GCN. Let me know if you manage to fix your issues and how
Cheers
Hi @wildbunch44
did you try to clear cache and data for the app?
Maybe also try a different internet connection and check again?
