Youtube app nicht das neuste !!

Hallo zusammen ich habe mir letze woche das 65XD7505 erworben... und musste heute feststellen das die Youtube app (1.4.x) drauf ist und laut play store gibt es kein update... 

laut apkmirror ist es aber die v 2.0.xx

Habe das letze Update von Mai bereits drauf (nougat) nun die frage wir ich es aktualisieren kann ... weil ich kann zwa 4K inhalte sehen aber HDR erkennen tut er nicht 😞

Leider wenn ich ein hdr video abspiele schaltet der fernseher nicht auf hdr um.. oder habe ich da etwas missverstanden?

Action menü > Bild > dann steht oben rechts HDR ... Zumindes wenn ich von Synology Nas etwas durch jage... Bei youtube steht nix

Ich habe auch hier schon was dazu geschrieben.

Auch der Player im Google Cast Receiver hat so seine Probleme ab 1080p60...

YouTube 2.0 on Android TV suffers from severe performance issues on Sony TVs. I know that the SoC is quite weak, but other apps like Kodi handle 2160p60 HDR video over network quite well.

First issue is that YouTube says that the 'Optimal Resolution' for 4K content is 1440p (QHD) instead of 2160p (UHD). This has always been an issue, not just with YouTube 2.0. So YouTube won't play such clips at a higher resolution.

Second issue is that high frame rate video is not smooth anymore at HD resolution and higher (1080p60 and higher). CPU usage is dramatically higher with YouTube 2.0(.0.18) compared to 1.3(.11). The Google Cast Receiver suffers from pretty much the same performance issues on Sony Android TV.
What makes this even worse is that with YouTube 2.0 one can't do manual Quality adjustment anymore. So high frame rate high resolution clips cannot be played back smoothly.

New UI and HDR arrived on LG and Samsung quite some time ago, so long before Android TV. HDR is still not available at all. Why is your own platform so badly supported?

Mal eine Frage , vielleicht kann jemand helfen,

wenn ich in der Youtube App nach einem Künstler suche , z.b Helene Fischer , dann bekomm ich als Suchergebnis ja einzelne Musikvideos als Kachel angezeigt, zwischendurch gibs aber auch "Kacheln" da steht dann "Helene Fischer +50 Videos" , wenn ich diese Kachel drücke spielt er ein Video ab, wie komm ich aber in die nächste Übersichtsliste also das mir die gesamten 50 Videos angezeigt werden in den ich dann springen kann.

Ist bei anderen Muskiken ja auch so in den Suchergebnissen , da gibs immer Kacheln wo dann eine Anzahl der Videos steht

IMHO mit einer D-Pad Taste, also entweder 'Up' oder 'Down'.
