Battery Not Charging!

only charging problem in my mobile sony C4 dual.mobile switch on time is not charging but it,s switch off time is charging show but battery is not charge.and care canter mamber said should be chang it,s motherboard and this cost 10,000/- Rs. its very costly. please solve my problem.
