contact not working

Hi,  I have problem with contact I can't open contact list ( it show contact is unfortunately stop)  even I can't make call also please give me right solution for this problem

I'm sorry to hear about this.

When you are trying to make a call using the phone application, do you receive the same error message? Is there any change if you type in the number rather than tapping on the contact that you want to call?

I'd recommend that you start with resetting the Contacts application in your phone, this will not delete any contacts it will however reset any settings that you have done in the application, such as filtering.

To do that go to Settings > Apps > scroll to the right so you end up on the menu called "All" > scroll down and find "Contacts" and tap on it > Clear data > OK.

Try making a call or opening the application again. If you still can't open it and the application stops. Try rebooting your phone in safe mode, so we can see if any third party application is the cause of this. All downloaded applications won't be loaded in safe mode.
