SDHC and SDXC is just a different naming related to memory capacity (high capacity <32 GB vs extended capacity >32 GB and <2 TB). There is also a different default format: FAT32 vs exFAT. You can choose any of the mentioned.

Hi alexdon, I was hoping you could expound on the subject, I'm looking to purchase an sd card for my c5 ultra, not being as tech savvy as I'd like to be, I don't know where to begin. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

@edcmt247 what do you want to know? C5 supports microSDs up to 200GB which is pretty much. So you can buy a larger storage microSD (32, 64, 128 etc). You need to consider fast reading and writing speeds, so it will be at least class 10.

Hi, I just bought a Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual. My question is how do you identify the class of a microSD card?

For example if you look at the microSD card at https://www.prlog.org/10132645-sandisk-16gb-micro-sd.jpg
the class is not mentioned. .?

- Second question is which brand(s) are better for my Sony Xperia device? Here in Mauritius, we have sanDisk, Kingston, samsung, ...

- Third question is does the Xperia C5 Ultra Dual support SDHC or SDXC ?
- Fourth question is do I need a U1 or U3 microSD card? I don't really understand these terms:

UHS-1 Class 1, and UHS-1 Class 3

- And Finally, would you please say something about this article: http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-microsd-card

@DiamondCS Usually, you should see a small 4,6,8,10 in a semi circle, that's the class. Or directly UHS written if it's a higher speed card.
