@shivani16 Usually that message comes up when you have OK google detection from any screen enabled.

@shivani16

Do you have any voice recording app?

try this, boot on safe mode and try again.

Thanks for the solution to the problem. It has solved it on my Sony Xperia C4 UK. The first time I saw this after buying the phone I put it back to Factory Default to solve it. But then it came back. I had not correlated the OK Google config change with the error as the two events were a couple of days apart. Thanks again.

Do you know if it is a Google App problem, a Sony Video Camera issue, a Sony Xperia H/W issue or an Android issue?

Do you know if it is going to be fixed?

I suppose a S/W work around would be for the Sony Camera App to switch off  the "OK Google" feature when it opens and then put it back to the original state when it closes. But probably "Security" will prevent it from changing the setting. We can only hope.

How do I disable the ok Google detección function?

1. Click on Google search
2. Click on the G google symbol.
3. Click on the 3 line menu symbol.
4. Select the settings option
5. Select voice
6. Select OK Google detection
7. Click to disable the "on any screen" option.

You may be able to get there quicker but...

Hope this helps.

Does anybody know of a 3rd party camera app that will either share the microphone or disable the OK Google feature while using the video on the -4?

Open Camera, the Google Camera app.,and most third party camera apps, work fine with OK Google detection activated from any screen. This is a bug with the Sony Camera app., not with OK Google.

Thanks,, I'll experiment with a few of those.
