Replacement of new purchased mobile

Hi,

  I'm M Madhan from Chennai, I have purchased Sony Xperia C3 dual at Poorivika Mobiles Pvt Ltd at Valasaravakkam showroom on last Sunday (28/12/2014) to present for my wife. Sales executive Mr. Sathish has described the features about the phone very well and he convinced us to go head. Yesterday (30-12-2014) only i have try to switch on the mobile but its not only black screen remains. Very next day (31-12-2014) i have gone to authorised Sony services centre at Egmore (Chennai) and met Mr. Venkat Service Engineer and he as confirmed that it will not work will give a replacement within one week of time. I asked him to narrate the problem in my mobile but he refused to explain and he said you will get the replacement and directed to receptionist. And they have give me Entry Level Screening Form to fill it contains Name, Address, contact no Model No and IMEI no along with that they have asked me the full kit, box and original invoice and they find Poorvika mobiles shop seal is not there in the bill. Immediately they refuse to take entire set. And they have asked me go to showroom and get the seal after that only will accept. I have asked only one question, It's not my fault and moreover from Sony service centre to showroom is almost 25 kms and i have put one hour permission to my office only. Even though they have not accept and talking in rude way and simply they went inside. This is the way chennai service centre behaving to the customers.

1).  Not even one day i have utilized my mobile.

2). No proper response in the service centre.

3). They have behaving to customer on rude way.

I am planning to file a consumer case against sony.

Thats quite sad to hear.But this forum is runned by users to help others,so in this such situatiom,we can't help.

You need to contact your local Sony Xperia Center because you might have bought(just an assumption) an AP set of Xperia C3 dual.

Anyway,try contacting your local Sony Xperia to consult this issue

Sorry to hear this... i am also going thru same probelem. Sony is not attending my complaint. Have also decided to file complaint in consumer forum.

I have been trying since last 2 months for a resolution of camera probelm. Escalated to senior authorities (servicehead@ap.sony.com) also. Even contacted Area manager sales, service incharge, call center for so many times. But Sony is not ready to listen to anything. My handset is lying with service center.

Friend, just go for consumer forum if you want a refund. There is no other way.
