Cannot open manual from cd for DSC-HX 100V

Sony DSC-HX 100V camera

Hi,

I purchased the above camera yesterday but am unable to open the manual from the cd. I install it ok and get the shortcut on my desktop but when I click on the shortcut a winzip box comes up and I cannot do anything with it.

I have windows xp.

I want the full manual with 500+ pages in it not the 31 page that I can download from the Sony web site.

Is it available to download direct from anywhere else or can someone please explain to me how to open it from the disc.

Have you installed the MS SP3 update for your Windows XP..?

Can you post an image of the winzip box please.?

Thanks for reply Thalmus,

I have now sorted out my problem.

I right clicked on the shortcut and entered "open with internet explorer" instead of winzip.

All ok now.
