DSC HX9V

Hi, I've recently bought a DSC HX9V camera as an upgrade from my previous DSC N2.  In the guide it indicates that the camera will accept both SD and Memory Stick/Pro Duo cards, yet I've been unable to insert the latter.  Is an adaptor necessary or have I just misread the guide.  Any advice would be most appreciated.

Hi jontrac, welcome to the Sony Forums

You don't need an adaptor for MemorySticks. Are you sure you have it facing the right way? With the camera facing you, the card's notched corner shoudl be on the left.
