I use my DSC-HX90V in automatic mode but can't figure a way to turn off the screen message advising me in certain appropriate light conditions to 'Pop up built-in flash to fire'. The notice takes up a lot of the screen and makes it difficult to frame the photo.
I appreciate the auto-mode suggesting flash would improve my photo but I don't always agree and would prefer for this annoying flash notice to be able to be turned off.
Is there a way please?

Hi psiclops
I don't think there's a way to disable the message when in auto mode unless you go into the settings and set the Flash Mode to OFF: https://helpguide.sony.net/dsc/1510/v1/en/contents/TP0000586738.html
