HX400V long exposure

Hi,

having purchased an HX400V and now realised that, for some unknown reason, the BULB function has been disbled or ins't available.

Firstly, Why?

Secondly, will it be added in a software update or do I have to change the camera - probably a Nikon!

Come on Sony, I've bought your products for many years - please help.

Even if it means using an App.

Hi,
I have tried the app as recommended. It is a useful app and works ok.
It still doesn't allow me to use an exposure longer than 30 seconds though.

If anyone has any other suggestions, they will be gratefully received.

Unless Sony can provide me with a firmware update?

unfortunatly there is no bulb function on your camera, and I would have thought if Sony wanted to add it via firmware they would have done it by now.

The only app that can mimic long exposures is Smooth Reflection, it takes multiple exposures and then blends them into one, the results are quite accepetable to me.
