Hi, I have an issue with the aperture setting on my RX100va in that I can only get it down to f11 in any setting or conbinations. Is f11 the smallest it will go?I have done the full initialise sequence to reset just incase I had done something but it's still the same. F11 is the limit. Any ideas please?
Hi Alan,
Welcome to the Sony Community.
Have you always had this issue, or is this only recently happening?
Best wishes,

Hi, thank you for your reply. It started out all fine then I really assigned a few buttons to suit me more and the aperture then would go no smaller than f11. I could see no reason for this or find a remedy, I only changed what was offered in the menus so I ran the full I itiaialisation option to tmreturn everything to factory settings which it did except for the aperture which still refused to go smaller than f11
Hi Alan,
We'll look into this further for you and update this thread when we can. Meanwhile, maybe some other members will have some advice to share about the same camera model.
Best wishes,

Hi there Alan,
So based on what you are saying, you used to be able to go lower than f11 but now you can't even after a factory reset? Does it not go lower even on Aperture priority or manual modes?

Hi Alan,
After taking a second look at the specs, I can see that the aperture ranges from 1.8 to 11 so this should be normal.
