Can x10 run google voice search?

    Hey everyone,      

                               As per my knowledge google voice search is only available from 2.2 and so on but Maria sharapova is using google voice search holding a xperia x10 and x10 runs 2.1. So can someone tell me how do i get google voice search on x10 plz

I think this is one of the apps that is location/carrier dependent. I have it on my T-Mobile UK phone and had it on 1.6 too.

I know Sushidushi, another volunteer moderator, has a Canadian X10 and didn't have it on 1.6.

Sorry I did not get you everyone will have same OS so everyone should have it....... Sorry to ask u this question are you talking about google voice or google voice search. I think both are different if i am not wrong

I have Google voice search on my X10 (Orange). Had it on both 1.6 & 2.1

Google voice is not available in the UK at present.

I was talking about Google Voice Search which is present in my app drawer as Voice Search with a microphone on the icon.

make sure you go to

settings

               applications

                                       and check "Unknown Sources"

I mean how can i get the microphone button on my default keypad.......... For 2.2 and other versions the keypad has an option i need it in the same way can u help me? I downloaded the apk im using it but its only for searching in google rite?

You could try downloading the HTC_IME keyboard which has the microphone button on.
