Live with Walkman ICS update problem

I'm from the Philippines and I was waiting for the ICS update. I've read this thread http://talk.sonymobile.com/message/199753#199753 saying that an update is available for the SI number.. but when I checked, my number is a lower SI number i think it was 5375? sorry I havent rechecked but I was certain it was a lower SI number than 5757. I plugged my phone into PC Companion on MSC mode (MTC mode seems to fail in detecting my phone) to check and it notified me of an update. So I went with the update procedures. I was at the downloading step then when the download completed (sort of) the dialog shows "preparing" then suddenly the update failed. and an error message popped up saying the the update failed. Any help???? sorry for the long post

I've updated my sony ericsson live with walkman.. not its not ericsson its just only sony The downloading time was too much... but after installing update i am happy with the new look of android 4.0.4. Thanks sony!! The transition effect is awesome.. and also we get Developer Option. :smileygrin: Sony Ericsson made my day

I have the same more or less problem with the previous users. when i switch off the mobile and conect holding the volume down button both to pc companion an SEUS  my computer tottaly FREEZES.

I have windows xp. What should i do? Any ideas?

Hey I tried updating about an hour before and I am now updated to ICS (9:28pm Philippine time) thanks for all the help

I'm having a problem performing the update in my Live with Walkman. My phone have unlocked bootloader. When I was updating the software using PC Companion and Update Services the software shows the following error message: "The phone contains modified software that can't be updated"

Google maps is getting stuck,apllication tray is auto closing,some times back button isn't working,sony i expect great feature but this is annoying :smileysad:,please address these issues on my Walkman with live with ICS 4.4

I'm having the same problem and i tried updating using sony update service,not able to connect my phone.i did whatever they told me but not helpful

how did your phone get connected?

i tried too but it was not getting connected

i switched of the phone and connected usb holding on the volume button.but,no use

it didn't get discovered
