If your phone is with AT&T then as far as I know they have not released the 2.1 update.
yes. My Phone is with At n T . But I spoke to tech support ppl of AT n T regarding the version upgrade.
They told that, I can do by myself through sony ericsson site. AT & Thave nothing to do with the upgrade it seems..I can directly upgrade by visiting sony ericsson site/ connecting phone to PC and using compatoble software. This is what they told me and hence I am posting here.
Your provider being AT&T then you can't do the 2.1 update, since the one for the AT&T's phone is not available at the moment.
So, you think there is no other way then? My Phone is only 2 days old and I need 2.1 badly.
any suggestions?
I think they have given you bad information, you could always call back to confirm and hopefully speak to someone else who may know what they are talking about. Josh is spot on, they haven't released the upgrade yet. There are many users on the forums with AT&T who are still waiting and I am sure that if they had made the release the news would have been shouted from the roof tops.
