my Bravia KDL26 has suddenly started switching off and on again continuously. its about 3 years old. What can I do?

I had a KDL-32D3000 which did exactly the same thing, maybe 2 or 3 times per night. Sod's law said that it was always during a moment of high drama!!!
It turned out to be a software problem. It was returned to my local Sony Centre and put right by under its 5 year guarantee. Thereafter no probs!
