love this TV and despite our poor 3mb intervened connect we have been able to use both Netflicks andAmazon movies. However recently both struggle to stream. Once they fail even the apps won't load without turning off the TV. streaming is OK via an Apple TV.
Is is there a known issue with recent software updates?
Also, the AR HDMI is starting to drop the tv sound to the sound bar? It's been fine up until now?!
Any help or advice appreciated.

Hi there
3Mbps internet speed gives you no room to move, especially as your home internet speed will fluctuate as well.
Netflix requires basically 3Mbps:

Try lowering the quality of the video (see if Amazon has the same)

In regards to Apple TV, this requires slightly lower speed of 2.5Mbps - which is why it works better for you:

If you are having problems with sound via HDMI-ARC, as a suggestion, try another HDMI cable and see if it helps.
Cheers

Hi there
Im glad you've got a working solution. Sorry i did not get back to you - i can only make assumptions on why it worked before and why it does not now. For example, maybe they have upped the quality slightly or maybe your internet speed drops slightly. Its mainly due to no head room in regards to internet speed. Your right on the money, but internet speed is not constant, it fluctuates.
Cheers
