I tried a few DLNA servers (Mezzmo, Serviio, TVersity, Microsoft Media Player). I've put the subtitle in the same folder and with the same name as the movie and none succeeded.
I'm not sure if it works with your model but '03 & '04 models displays SRT subtitles muxed into MKV file (muxed but not trascoded into video stream). It does work perfectly with Twonky.
