Hi amj.designs,

Have you tried requesting the stickers from Vaio-Link, as they replaced your case...:smileyconfused:

These are not available. Both Intel and Microsoft are very cautious about these stickers as some of the less honest people can abuse them. Take it from me that this is the case - I used to work for Intel!

Hi amj.designs,

For once I have to agree with Hits-Uk. Sony is not authorised to send you these stickers. These stickers can only be part of PC going out of factory. It is in our contract we have signed with both Intel and Microsoft.

well, since they have removed it why souldn't they be liable to replace them? this devalue my laptop.it might not mean a thing to them but to me it does as without it the laptop doesn't have a selling point even if the buyer could find details online or inside the laptop.what should i do now?

Hi amj.design,

I don't really see the point. Such sticers are not selling points. They have no legal meaning. They are pure marketing communication material. Most of the customers remove them as soon as they have bought the PC anyway.

If you really insist on having them you can contact my support colleagues on www.vaio-link.om and ask for an escalation but I doubt it will have any result.

well if it work for marketing it works me too.you do sound like olivier from sony support as this is exactely what he was saying.i really don't know why you guys at sony cannot just leave things how they are.everyone is free to like things their way.i have just tested 6 of my friends and asked them is they like things as they come from factory ie the selling centrino sticker they all agreed.
anyway i have found them on ebay and it just cost me £4 where sony could have saved me the hassle.take it from me i stopped buying sony for years and i really just remembered why i did ,first place.NO MORE
