Cracked screen on PCG-SRX51P

Dear all,

I am very very upset - the screen of my dear small vaio is cracked after a wild evening in the cafe - someone probably kicked it.
How and where can I repair it in the Netherlands?

hi Yuri,

I guess you have a bit of a problem. I myself are working in a shop called Dixons, you might have heared of it.

This kind of thing will not be covered by your waranty (garantie in het nederlands). So you have to pay all costs yourself.

If Im not mistaken, sony has a general repair centre near Schiphol Airport. You can send it over there

or:
you bring it back to the shop where you have bought it. They can probably send it to the repair centre as well.
You have to keep in mind that these kind of repairs costs a lot of money. 700-800 euro's wouldnt be an exception Im afraid. So you might wanna ask the price before you send it in.
It might be also a good idea to buy a new one if the price is to high

I guess I will be shopping for a new 10-inch screen vaio or for a new ibook from Apple. I use it mostly to dump photographs from a digital SLR during the session and to preview the pix. The price is a shame....
