DVD driver firmware to upgrade

I have a Vajo FS115B i would like to get it DVD region free, but it's impossible with dedicated software, they told me i have to upgrade driver software.
How can i upgrade firmware of DVD driver matshita UJ831DA
i have found firmware upgrade only for UJ831S .
Could it work ?

This is due to it being a DVD-RAM drive, therefore it cannot be made region free.
