failing ac adapter

hello,

i have got a sony vaio pcg-grt 815e with 2 ac adaters and both fail if i'm working for a while on my machine the notebook switches from ac power to battery. at this verry moment it switches like i mentioned. does anyone know why this happens and what i can do about it?

Welcome to the Forum,

Have you tried running on AC power with the battery removed?

Be aware that if the power does fail you will loose any unsaved work.

It does seem strange that both your AC adapters seem to be failing!

Are you comfortable that both adapters are failing?

Perhaps it is a problem with either the charging circuitry or more likely your battery.
