Graphics driver update

Is there an update available for GforceFX 5600Go ? I updated once, but the thing is I need to update again (apparently) so it fully supports directx 9.0c for the sims2, according to EA Support. I don't see any updates other than the ones I've already used on the sony download page. Does anyone know if Sony will be providing later updates any time soon?

theres a post entitled graphics, that discusses this tho i dont blame you for not finding it as theres no search function..

i would stay away from 3rd party gfx driver updates although it may seem a fairly logical option considering sony havent released gfx drivers for a fairly long time..

I'd take a look at the BBS for the Sims2 on their own site, you will probably get more specific advice. Sony are pretty poor in this regard and while 3rd party drivers are really not a great option you may find they are your only option. As Nick says there haven't been any recent drivers for quite a long time and it's anyones guess if there will even be any more.
