Help! xcp on my vaio?????

Hi..I'm going crazy, if someone can help me I'll be very happy...last week I've tried to listen a cd on my notebook (was depeche mode "playing the angel" and goldfrpp "supernature" but after the first cd my notebook skip every type of cd, I can't wrote on virgin cd except dvd....what is this? I don't understand..maybe something like the disgusting xcp???

Do the cd's play on other computers?
Some audio disks have a protection that you no longer see them when put into your cdrom/dvdrom drive.

Yeah I hate that copy protection stuff, it can mess with PCs
