Do you have Adobe Type Manager installed?
This can clash with hibernation.

Also check the power settings in control panel > power

Yes, I have. It was hibernating okay till recently;suddenly stopped and gives the error message as follows:
The device driver for the Standard 101/102 Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 keyboard is preventing the system from hibernating...
Help!

Yes I have installed the Adobe type manager recently. But now I have uninstalled. Burt stil it wouldn't hibernate.Still gives the error message as follows:
The device driver for the Standard 101/102 Key or Microsoft Natural PS/2 keyboard is preventing the system from hibernating...

As Kee-Lo suggested this could be an application that is hooking the keyboard driver and preventing the application from shutting down, thus preventing hibernation.
This will be a long winded solution but if you go to Start > Run and type msconfig (hit return) > Start Up and disable applications in bulk or in turn, reboot and test hibernation, you may find the culprit.
Best of luck.

From what I read Microsoft just tell you to contact Adobe... very useful of them....

Another forum said just uninstall it or update it to the newest version

Thank you Kee-lo
I think I have not uninstalled the Adobe Type manager properly at first. I have tried again and this time it worked! Thanks again. Brilliant suggestion.
