High Frequency Sound Coming From The Display

Hi everybody i think i have a problem with a Brand New Sony Vaio FS315S! The display produces a whining sound everytime i try to low down the brightness...Except from the maximal value in which it is ok and i can only hear the HDD!!When the LCD Brightness is set to 9 it is ok but if i set it to 8 and lower(6,5,4,3,2,1) i hear a whining sound coming from the LCD which you can easily notice in a quiet environment!
I Just want to know if this is something i should take care or something common because based on my personal experience with such types of computers it is the first time i notice something like this!

Yeah there were a lot of posts about this not so long ago, it's the inverter board - I'd have a word with VAIO Link - it really isn't good

i've already opened a case and they told me that we have to arrange a pick up...i am in greece so does anybody know for how long will i stay without it?
