How do you use Sonic Stage

I've updated Firmware and Sonic and xfer fine.

Call me think, but how the hell do you use Sonic Stage ?

I have a million folders on my PC - each one for a seperate album.

I can't figure out how to get them transferred to the VP.

Any quick pointers appreciated.

You need to use the Sonic Stage programme to tranfer music files forward and back to the VP. when you open SS do you have a list of albums showing? and can you play them in SS??

Thanks for the help.

It could see all my folders with albums in and had them listed, but I couldn't get the transfer to work.

I deleted everything from within SS and re-imported all folders, then started the transfer. All is fine now.

Incidentaly, The folders are about 10Gigs worth. SS crashed half way through transferring them !!!!! I rebooted the PC and kicked it off from where it got up to and all is fine now.

A bit strange.

I actually like this bit of software tho !! haha.

........ Still loving the Vaio Pocket !! It's line output to my HiFi is a million miles better than the VGN-FS195VP Vaio notebook I bought a few months ago ! Weird - Size isn't everything !!!!!!

Thanks for your help

Im glad to here you have it working!!

I use SS for holding all my music, its quirky but once you are used to it, it's pretty good imo!

Hi there, Sorry to but in on your thang but I have a similar problems at the mo.

Up to now I have been using Windows Media player for everything. I got the pocket and thought..... lets jam everything on it and I can put the laptop to some good use (not that music isn't a good use).

I think because I have just about everything in MP3 format I can import everything into Sound Stage but it wont transfer into the pocket....

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah.... I loaded it up yesterday and thought it would be the answer to all my problems.

I thought to test it I would put a CD i had just bought straight onto it and then transfer it straight to the VP. But i got the message "an error has been recorded when trying to import a CD".

At that point 1.30am I decided to go to bed....

That sounds like an uninstall, reinstall to me!! SS is a funny one at times, make sure you have SS in the allowed list of your firewall too.
