Hybernation

Hello guys - does anyone know how to turn off the automatic hybernation on the VGN-FE21b? Everytime i close the lid to move to another room for example - it automaically going into hybernation. I'ver checked the power settings and taken the tick out of "enable hybernation" but it still does it!!!

Hi,

Try editing your power profile using the power icon in the system tray.

If newer machines follow the same principal as mine, right click the power icon in the system tray and select Edit/Create profile > on the next window select the desired profile and double click ‘Lid Close Action’ and change this to Turn Off LCD.

Save and exit.
