Memory Stick / Disc drive / DVD Drive always want to be formatted !!!

Help !!! I have a PCV-RX202 . I installed XP Service Pack 2 last week . At the weekend i upgraded my virus programme to Norton AV2005 . I also installed a Logitech Wireless Optical Mouse and Keyboard .
Now anytime i want to use my memory stick drive or the floppy drive , windows tells me the stick is not formatted and asks if i want to format it !!! If i say yes , it does the necessary but then says it couldn't be completed successfully . But all the data are gone ...
I can't access the drive after this , keep getting the same message .
The same happens with the floppy drive .
The DVD and CD writer also are causing problems .
Anyone got any ideas or tips as to how i can get my drives working again ????
Any help would be greatly appreciated ....

Uninstall Service Pack 2 and reinstall it.

tried your suggestion but it didn't work .....
Any other thoughts ??
I will deinstall the new hardware too and see if that makes a difference . Who knows ???

Reinstall the drivers, it sounds like a problem there as it covers several hardware componants.

As Tyger said, if you reinstall the drivers it should work for you.
