I have aquired an Kingston 1Gb DDR 400Mhz.
After inserting it on the first day the computer ran fine, although I did not stressed the memory usage.
The following day I started openning lots of apps and getting some movie clips going, and the computer just hang. After that It started bluescrening alot.
So my question is does DDR 400 memory is incompatible with DDR 333? Or is the memory just damaged?
Thanks

Hi Cláudio Albuquerque,
DDR memory is backwardly compatible so even thought the recommendation for your model is DDR333, DDR 400 should work fine albeit at a lower speed.
Try just the DDR400 module on its own in both slots individually and if all is OK then add the DDR333 module in both combinations.
