Hi Thalamus
Adobe Gamma is in my control panel - it opens but the slider controls do change the colours when moved
Gretag Eye One is a monitor calibration tool - youplace on the screen. You have to be able to manually change the colour settings based on its analysis
Thanks
sorry sliders do NOT change colours

Hi
Sorry for late reply
No - I tried this before I entered the forum
I have used this on my desktop ok and used the separate colour manage device - in this case my monitor has a menu where I can manually change contrast and RGB settings
Still cannot find a way with this notebook?
Thanks
Sorry, don't know the english expressions in the pop-up menu.
Hi Oxon,
I have the A117S and Adobe Gamma is working the way it should.
And it's not the only way to change colours. When you right-click on your desktop there is a pop-up menu. Continue searching until you find "ATI colour", where you can manually change gamma, brightness and contrast for every colour.
Sorry, don't know the english expressions in the pop-up menu.
Here's what you should click in german:
Eigenschaften => Einstellungen => erweitert => ATI Farbe
Just to eliminate any possibility of errors:
Did you install the Bios- and Graphics Driver Update and everything else that came with Windows XP SP2?
Greetings,
S.
Thanks Guys
With both the ATI panel open - colour tab and the Adobe Gamma window open, I can change the Adobe gamma sliders via the ATI colour tab only - weird. Adobe Gamma will NOT operate independently
Its a start many thanks for your help
At least you can adjust the settings,
Adobe Gamma will NOT operate independently
