problem with keyboard

i bought vaio notebook today and i have a huge problem - keyboard act as if the fn key was pressed so eg. instead of "i" it types "6" etc... *3ease any6ne he3*!!! (please anyone help)

Hi hasr and welcome to Club Vaio.

Try turning off the Num Lk key - to the right of F12.

You have the numeric keypad turned on - notice the numbers on the front of the alpha keys that you are trying to use?
