Problems with Internet Explorer

My 1 week old VIAO VGN-A195EP has been working fine. However I have noticed that over the past few days Internet Explorer has crashed with increasing regularity. I can only surf for a very short time now without it stopping - what can I do to find the fault? (XP Pro - SP1)

I've started using Mozilla a bit more now, I do prefer it, but I have to still keep IE for certain things
