Just upgraded my A series from 512MB to 1.25GB RAM, makes a hell of a difference. Especially for Windows startup, multitasking, video-encoding, gaming and heavy-duty peer-to-peer. Best €140 I ever spent for that laptop. Bought mine from an Irish online retailer who have a partnership with Crucial; worked out waaay cheaper than anything Sony are selling. And the quality is still top notch, according to reviews I've found through Google.
