Recovery Discs

Hi everyone,

Have just brought a new VGN - S5H/P/B, have made two sets of recovery discs, just in case one fails. Thought that it may free up spece on the hard drive if I now removed the recovery programme and files from the partition.

The questions are:

1. Do you guys recommend removing the files from the hard drive as I now have two sets of recovery discs.

2. If you do what is the best way to go about it. Do I use add and remove programmes, or do I attempt to remove the information as files from the system manually.

Please try to remember that I an not a computer wiz so can the technical info be kept to easy to understand English.

Thank you, in advance, for any help you may be able to provide.

Regards

Lancer.

PS. If I remove the recovery programme and files from the laptop, can I keep a copy in storage on say my RA104 which has plenty of memory space.

I'd say leave it on there if you don't need the space

Thanks for the advise Kee-Lo, will leave on the system as long as there is enough space.
