Sonic Stage Error "OMJBOX.exe error Application will be closed"

Hi
I am getting the following error OMJBOX.exe error Application will be closed" while trying to transfer files to VP, and the SS is closing down.Same problem with the Vaio transfer tool.

I refered this issue in the software section i got a reply from one sony technitian that this error is due to the WINDOWS XP hot fix KB840987 and asked me to remove the fix and try.

I do not think this is a viable solution bcause removing a hotfix could impact the System security.

Can any one help me in this......I am not able to transfer any files to my VP

It sounds to me like your database is corrupt, if the hotfix is an issue look here for a bit more info, it may pay to UG to SS 3.1 too, some of the issues have been fixed in this new version.

Thank You for the reply. I applied some hotfixes recently and the problem has been sorted out. Thank you once again
