Right got the Vaio Pocket yesterday, had no problems installing it at work (single monitor!) but when i got home ive had nothing but trouble getting Sonicstage to work.
I have XP SP2 i have tryed each version of sonic stage and its flashed to the latest firmware. Even try'd 3.1 and it dont work at all just loads up and the menu flickers none stop. if i click a button i have to move the window to actauly see the screen update.
I read somewhere that sonicstage does not support multi-monitor setups (i have 4) but even when i disable them all and use a single monitor setup it still crys!
Seriously how annoying is this? never mind the fact i cant use it just as a mass storage device and HAVE to transfer files via Sony software. Im very tempted to take this straight back to Dixons 2moro
Connect your VPMP
You need to go into Sonic stage and open the "tools" drop down. There is an option for "authorisation" - click it and you will connect to the internet and follow the instructions - your player will then be recognised.
It frustrated the hell out of me, but I think this is your problem.
Hmmmm it detects my PV its just the program it self does nto work well under XP sp2 and multiple monitors it does nothin but flicker constently and you have to drag and move the window to see anyform of update from the app
ie: select a album -> drag app to the left -> app updates and show u selected a album
