I have the Sony PCG FX805, 3.25 years old. Six months ago it would not work for more than 2 minutes on battery power, just switched of with a load ping. On advice I bought a new battery - two months later, same problem. When plugged into the mains it works ok and the battery level indicates full charge but on switching off the mains, ping and it shuts down without a warning.
Anyone had this problem, could anyone advise, please.
