Not quite sure on how i do this but i have i problem with my Battery. when i 1st purchased my laptop my battery life was a good 3hrs and 2 months later all i have left is 1 hr 15minutes. I have been told that there is a way to refresh my battery life somehow and was wondering if anybody knew how? thanx

Battery life depends on your operating conditions - for instance having the LCD on as bright as possible, using the CD/DVD drive and the internet will take its toll on battery life.

Using the VAIO Maximum and VAIO Ultimate power schemes will help.

Otherwise you may have a faulty battery. If so contact Sony Support (by phone) ASAP and get a new one from them.

EDIT: Last minute thought - your battery should have no memory effect as it is probably a Li-Ion (Lithium Ion) battery, so refreshing the state of the battery may be possible by draining it to at least 10% and doing a full off-line recharge (i.e. dont use the VAIO in the meantime).
