Hi there,

I Wonder if anyone can help, am thinking of upgrading memory from 512mb Pc2100 to 1024mb Pc2700.

would i get a big performance increase for an outlay of £145.

any information would be great.

Sure, there is an increase and your NB will get a little bit more silenced, with more RAM your NB will not take the Harddisk so oft in use

RAM is usually the quickest and cheapest way of giving you computer a boost. It's especially useful in laptops where you can't upgrade some of the main componants. So yeah, I'd say you'll see the difference. £145 isn't a bad price for 1gb of RAM either I take it that's from crucial?
