For some reason every sony laptop i have tried to access the internet with using a Linksys Wireless-G Notebook adaptor 2.4GHz (802.11g) Model # [WPC54G ver 1.2] it will stay connected for a few minutes and then cut off! I know it is not the internet connection as with an ethernet connection it is fine, However using a Dell laptop with XP Pro (not XP Home as on the GRT786M) it sis fine all day long without cutting off at all using the same notebook adapter! I have tried two different sony laptops and PCMCIA Linksys wireless cards with them yet they always seem to cut off!
Is this a common occurance? Has it happened to anyone else? Can it be easily solved?
Id appreciate any input to try and solve this problem!
