VAIO Heat Problem

hi guys,

i have this vaio vgn-s5m and the thing is the fans seem to be working almost all the time even when im browsing the internet which doesnt really take up a lot of processor power. i installed mobilemeter and the cpu temp is about 48 Celcius all the time and it goes over 50 sometimes and the fans kick in. i was just wondering if this was normal in these laptops or could it be something wrong with mine.

It's normal but there is a BIOS upgrade for your computer on Vaio-Link which aims to improve CPU cooling.

If you decide to do the update then follow the instructions carefully.
