VAIO Zone is useless and a major waste of RAM. I suggest simply not using it.

Go to Control Panel > Power Settings and set the monitor to switch off after a minute

I don't think this will work if you have Vaio Zone running. (annoying isn't it? doesn't allows us to save power:smileycry: )
