Vgn Fs-315H + BlueScreen of Death

Since two months my computer seems to crash arbitrarily.
I have bought the laptop in October and it was running satisfactorily but now it sems to crash without reason. Sometimes there is a blue screen before but sometimes just a black screen. No chance to reboot.
Does anybody have a clue what the reason for that is?
Could it have to do with a firmware update I have loaded?
Actually it should not.

Have you checked for a virus?

What firmware updates have installed?

Were they from the Vaio update site?

if you follow the instructions correctly and the problems occured after the firmware update I suggest contacting Sony support!

I would contact them again and tell them that a system retore did not solve the problem and ask for further advice!

Actually it should not.

do a system restore and see if that fixes the problem.

1) I did a complete system reset with Sony Vaio Recovery Tool

2) My antivirus software is updated and has not detected any virus.

I did the Firmware update for MATSHITA UJ840D optical drive from the Sony Vaio Update Service Page, because the Update Service reminded me to do so.

I contacted them and they said I should do the system reset. but this changed nothings. The problem still exists.

Now I would like to reinstall the 1.00 firmware that was originally installed on this recorder, but I can't find it, although I searched the whole web.

A last-ditch hope would be to have a look in the system log to see if you can identify what is causing the BSOD.
