Hi,

Im looking at purchasing the following memory: VS1GSDS533D2

Spec:
1GB Corsair, DDR2 533MHz, 128Mx64, non-ECC, 200 SODIMM, Unbuffered, CL4, Lifetime Warranty

Will this work or do I need to by the corsair OEM specific or official sony stuff?

They have a list with VAIO-models. Select your own and you will see RAM which you need. For a good price and the same limited Lifetime warranty like Corsair Ram.

Sony's RAM is too expensive and not within there own specific hardware specification.
