Hi guys
A while ago I posted about having trouble installing XP Pro on a FE21S well you will be pleased to know I have now got round the initail problems I had with drivers - the PC has a very fussy order in which they must be installed. I have documented this so if anyone wants a copy let me know.
However there are 3 things that I am having trouble with which I am sure someone here will know the answer to.
1. I can not get the special keys to work - ie the ones labelled S1 and S2 - which Sony application is responsible for these?
2. The Mass storage controller driver - I have this installed (Its for the memory stick) but when the PC came from Sony there was a nice icon for this drive which showed a small pictire of a memory stick - i just have one of those horrid icons Windows uses as defualt when it doesnt have one for it.
3. The bluetooth controller and wireless switch - although I have got bluetooth installed, when the PC came from SOny the wiresless swictch controlled 3 things - bluetooth on/off and wireless 2 or 5 ghz. Anyone know which Sony apps need to be installed to get this to work as before?
4. The inbuilt camera - when this used to start an application opened up that allowed you to change contrast/brightness etc. Anyine know which one?
5. Finally the PC came with lots of Sony software which is on the recovery DVD I made - unfortunately none of it is clear what it is for - anyone know?
