Does anyone know how to play directly from SD card with Sony Music and Video player?

I know the SD cards works with 3rd party apps but not with Sony apps.

I have to say I think you've answered your own question.

I couldn't get to work either but it works happily with a file manager / explorer app and third party players.

I have file manager hd and es explorer together with mx player.
