3 Week old XA Ultra UI has Stopped error

Hi, I purchased an XA Ultra about 3 weeks ago.

This morning I woke up at a friends far away and my phone just says:

Unfortunately System UI has stopped

I now have no way of getting home as the device is my only GPS back....

I have used Xperia Z Ultra for 3 years without a single problem, I get this phone and now 3 weeks later I cannot even use it.

Is there a fix for this or do I need to get a full replacement or refund?

This is absolutely ridiculous.

I turn my phone off, go to bed, and have no phone in the morning.

Good day, I have a Sony Xperia Xa and the software is up to date and it is still giving that error Unfortunately System UI has stopped. I have sent it for repairs to Carphone warehouse where I bought it, and came back... Was OK for a month and yesterday it started doing it again. Could you please assist? I am fuming because I bought a Sony phone(brand new) after my Samsung gave problems, and now I have another unusable phone. It doesn't do it all the time, but I think it still isn't right! I have to keep restarting it and I need it in case of emergency.

Sometime my device shows system UI has stopped working when it shows then after my device aren't working only shows black screen and need to Restart. That time no button is working except switch on/off button.

I have the same issue. If u can't fix this issue please provide refund so that we can buy another phone please.
